Choir visit The Priory Care Home.

Yesterday morning Mrs Anderson and Miss Chowdhury took our junior choir to sing Christmas carols to the residents at The Priory Care Home.  The morning started with the children enjoying a wintery walk, meeting lots of our local deer along the way to get them in the festive spirit!  Once we arrived, the choir sang a number of carols that the children have been practicing in weekly choir club and singing assemblies with some children being very brave singing a solo or duet piece to a live audience.  At the end of the performance, there was a roar of claps and whistles from the staff and residents and the choir were invited to stay for a drink and given a sweetie bag to thank them before heading back to school.  We had a fantastic morning and we couldn't be prouder of our singers at Drapers' Pyrgo Priory!  Well done children.
